I am happy to announce that our group "Regional Institute of Paramedical Technology" (RIPT) has been marching its educational journey since 2009 and continuing its journey with aim and objective to serve the society in the field of Nursing, Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory. At present we are able to add two new feathers in our RIPT crown in the name of P Baruah School of Nursing & Regional College of Paramedical Health Sciences, permitted by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati respectively. We believe - coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success. The possibilities of dreams come true by enumerable hard labour and hurdles. A bold step was taken to these Nursing, Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory professions for the welfare of the society as well as for the upliftment of young individual. Undoubtedly my gratitude goes to Almighty God and my well wishers for their co-operation during the process and pain for these two Institutes. I am grateful to the Health and Family Welfare Department, Assam and esteemed Joint Director of Health Services Kamrup (M) for their concern and support to open the Nursing School. My sincere gratitude goes to Authority of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences for their positive support and gestures. Also I am thankful to the Authority of Guwahati Medical College Hospital, Mohendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital, Sonapur PHC & District Hospital, Azara CHC, Khetri CHC, Apollo Hospital, Pratiksha Hospital, GNRC and Sanjeevani Hospitals for providing opportunity of clinical exposure to our students. I specially thanks to all my distinguished persons, Faculty members & all Office staffs for rendering all help to maintain the noble heights that our both the Institutes have attained.
